The Man Engine 2016 + 2018

The largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain; the Man Engine was built by Golden Tree Productions to celebrate Cornwall's mining history.  In August 2016  Golden Tree Productions toured the puppet the length of Kernow.  Over 150,000 people watched the puppet transform into an 11.5 metre high clattering steaming mechanical figure.

2018: Man Engine The Resurrection.  We created a spectacular after dark outdoor event, lit by CQ Lighting with pyrotechnics by Titanium Fireworks.

Designed and built by Hal Sylvester, Rob Higgs and a team of Cornish makers/engineers.

Steam, lighting effects by Sam Lanyon of Concept Shed and Lucy Gaskell, CQ Lighting
